Fedde Le Grand and Dannic have come together with English singer-songwriter Coco Star to create a gorgeous, energetic future house remake of Coco’s 1997 hit single ‘I Need A Miracle‘. The track later received a remix from German-based duo Fragma, which would go on to become a timeless, worldwide sensation.
The signing comes just days after Dannic signed an exclusive new deal with Spinnin’ Records, who were recently named as the ‘Best International Label‘ at the Promo Only Summer Sessions Awards ceremony. Dannic, who is best known for prominent tracks such as ‘Survivors‘ with Hardwell, and ‘Blaze‘, had this to say following the huge signing:
“It makes me feel very excited. Spinnin’ is one of the leading dance record companies in the world. I’m really honored to be a part of it and contribute to the success.”
‘Coco’s Miracle’ features Coco Star’s smooth, timeless vocals, where Dannic & Fedde have made great use of reverb & delay to create a great spacious atmosphere. The main vocal hook effortlessly blends with the bouncy pluck lead in the drop, so when the piano enters in the second and third drops, it gives the track a truly authentic house feel.
While this collaboration will prove to be momentous, it’s not the only one Fedde has done recently. His track ‘Keep On Rising‘ with ‘Get Shaky‘ writer Ian Carey reached the no.1 spot on Beatport’s Future House chart. Relating to his latest work, Fedde Le Grand had the following to say about the collaboration:
“It’s been amazing to have the opportunity to rework this iconic vocal, giving Coco the credits she deserves. I’ve always loved the vocal and I’m so happy with the versions Daan and I’ve been able to create. It’s a smash on the floor and I love the Club Mix as the Original alike, there’s really something for everyone. I can’t wait for it to be released.”
