Armin van Buuren is regarded as one of the most iconic artists in Trance, having dominated the scene for years. Having been crowned world number 1 DJ 5 times during his career, the Dutch superstar maintains his position as one of the most legendary artists in the scene. In May, he performed two legendary ‘The Best of Armin Only‘ shows at the Amsterdam ArenA, bringing in a total of 80,000 fans from 97 different countries, an absolutely staggering feat and a monumental achievement.

Following the shows in May, Armin van Buuren has now released a 19-minute recap, showcasing the wondrous experience. The video itself includes a series of flashbacks to the event, as well as footage of fans themselves, many of whom traveled across the world to experience the once-in-a-lifetime event. The emotionally-charged recap gives a detailed insight into the event, revealing some truly spectacular scenes that will have any fans not in attendance wishing they were there. A true extravaganza of talent, the event even saw performers playing instruments on stage, which is of course not the norm for an Armin van Buuren show, truly giving the audience a one-off experience.

Here’s what Armin van Buuren himself had to say about the video:

“When I saw this video for the first time, it immediately felt like I was right there in the heat of the moment. Corrino did an amazing job with the live registration of the show as well as with this edit and I hope this will help my fans either relive the wonderful time we had together in the Amsterdam ArenA or dive into the show for the first time as if they were right there in person.”
