R3hab – Hakuna Matata (Hardwell Edit)

With his third official edit in just a short span, it sure seems that Hardwell is now following the footsteps of his mentor and friend Tiësto in terms of editing. Of course, this may not truly be the case. This year, the former #1 DJ in the world notably edited Domeno and Michael Sparks’s “Locked & Loaded” and Quintino’s “Scorpion“, both of which rocked the Tomorrowland mainstage last summer. A month after the last edit, Hardwell is now set to release another one and this time, he reworks R3hab‘s track titled “Hakuna Matata“.

Played by Hardwell himself during his Tomorrowland set, the track has already proven itself through the crowd-testing phase. Consisting of R3hab’s signature electro house sounds, “Hakuna Matata” delivers insurmountable amounts of energy and power. The edit consists of Hardwell’s nice progression, which fits in well with the insane and bass-heavy drop. Even though more creativity could have been placed upon producing the track, it still has the right amount of punch to make a crowd go crazy and blow the roof off any place.

Hardwell’s edit of “Hakuna Matata” will be out on December 21st on Revealed Recordings.
