Alfa Future People release massive 2016 aftermovie
In terms of dance music festivals, their sheer scale and size has been rapidly increasing over the past five years to a point where many think they can’t get much bigger. If you look at festivals such as Ultra in Miami or Belgium’s Tomorrowland, it’s easy to see why people have this opinion as they’ve gotten to the stage where there isn’t much bigger these things can go. Step in Russia’s Alfa Future People to squash this opinion however and to prove that things can and most likely will get much bigger in the future.
Having only began in 2014, the festival is quickly gaining popularity and will no doubt soon be one of the biggest in the world. One of the things that sets Alfa apart from the rest is that in addition to the music it also hosts a number of sporting events so attendees can have more fun than just the partying. One of the things which will stand out most is the sheer size and scale of the mainstage. The massive robotic head has to be one of the biggest stages to play on in the world and this year it hosted names such as Armin van Burren and Martin Garrix to name but a couple.
