Watch: Daft Punk & The Weeknd perform live at The Grammys

Hailed as one of dance music’s most iconic acts, Daft Punk have had impressive careers, renowned as one of the best-known DJ duos in history. Throughout the years they have amassed a huge level of support, with their music not only achieving within dance music, but within the mainstream chart too.

Since their Grammy award winning album ‘Random Access Memories‘ was released in 2013, the duo have only released two more songs. Last year, Daft Punk featured on The Weeknd’s album ‘Starboy‘, in which they collaborated on two songs ‘Starboy’ and ‘I Feel It Coming‘, both of which became instantaneous sensations, taking the world by storm.

Not only have Daft Punk released very few tracks of late, the duo have also steered clear of live performances, with endless rumours arising around tour dates. It certainly came as a shock to many when it was revealed that Daft Punk would perform alongside The Weeknd at this year’s Grammy Award ceremony. Together, they performed their hit single ‘I Feel It Coming’, with The Weeknd providing a compelling vocal performance. With an impressive stage design and laser show, the performance was certainly something to behold.
