Home Kaskade gears up for the release of long awaited sequel to his Redux EP

A few years ago, American DJ/Producer Kaskade embarked on what has since become a legendary tour around his native USA. ‘Redux’ introduced the DJ’s already massive fan base to an even deeper side of his diverse musical repertoire. Born in Chicago, the DJ whose real name is Ryan Gary Raddon, soon found a love for the music that shared his birthplace. Kaskade had already attained a good measure of commercial success, through chart topping releases like ‘It’s You, It’s Me’ and 7 stellar albums at the time. Raddon would also go on to collaborate with some of EDM‘s brightest shining stars, including Deadmau5, Skrillex, Galantis and John Dahlbäck.

2014 had clearly marked a peak in the DJ’s career. Now nominated for various Grammy awards, as well as headlining top events like Coachella, EDC, and Ultra,  Loyal Kaskade followers were eagerly awaiting new music, and the release of ‘Redux’ certainly would prove to be a somewhat monumental occasion for the LA-Based producer. Fast forward three years later, and we’re back in the present, standing at the foot of what promises to be yet another fan favorite. Kaskade has finally revealed the release of ‘Redux’ part two, through his very own Arkade imprint.  Focussing on his Chicago roots, ‘Redux’ promises to once again deliver a selection of sonically soothing deep house, that has followers clambering for a piece of the action.

The 46-year-old DJ’s Facebook page erupted with an overwhelmingly positive response upon announcing the 1 September 2017 release. ‘Arkade’ has recently been responsible for highly successful releases by the likes of Will K, Autoerotique, Fairchild (US) and Kaskade’s very own Late Night Alumni. While the label has dipped its toe into a wide variety of popular subgenres, the addition of Kaskade’s slightly deeper ‘Redux” part two, perfectly fits into its ever evolving move forward.
