UK’s South West Four festival features big name performances as countdown begins
South West Four, known as Sw4, is one of the biggest events in London’s festival calendar. With the big names they have this year, it is widely considered to be a must-go to festival for all UK dance music fans as it is one of the last for the year, falling on the bank holiday weekend in late August.
The festival showcases world renown DJs and legendary electronic live acts as well as plenty of rising stars thanks to the festivals top end stage hosts which this year includes Ministry of Sound and Amnesia. South West Four have taken it up a notch on the production side too, bringing in state of the art sound systems, lights and visuals. Using all of this new equipment, the festival have revealed that this will be the loudest South West Four yet as they aim to increase sound levels (which is every ravers dream!)
The main headline acts for each day are the recently reunited Pendulum who will be performing an electrifying live set, and Deadmau5 who will be bringing his latest version of his famous ‘Cube’ set. Other awesome acts on the main stage include house music chart topper Duke Dumont and bass house king Jauz, making the main stage a multi genre temple. More special appearances include the likes of Marco Carola, Laidback Luke, What So Not and Nicky Romero.
The official dates are Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th August and the site is located within the beautiful sightings of Clapham Common so if you’re around be sure to check it out!
