Martin Garrix drops “Forever” with Matisse & Sadko
Dutch superstar DJ Martin Garrix has once again, teamed up with close friends and Russian DJ duo, Matisse & Sadko, for another tantalising Progressive House anthem titled ‘Forever’. The new collaboration is the fourth one between the trio, with each one always proving to be an iconic festival anthem.
The track has been doing rounds on mainstages across the globe all summer, and while it was initially teased to be a collaboration with Axwell /\ Ingrosso, We Rave You squashed the rumours after Martin’s incredible set at Creamfields in the UK.
‘Together‘, ‘Dragon‘ and ‘Break Through The Silence‘ are the other three tracks that the trio have released. While ‘Together’ was one of seven tracks on Martin’s ‘Seven‘ EP, which he released in time for ADE last year, the other two tracks were released on Spinnin’ Records and each spent their fair share of time atop of Beatport’s Progressive House chart back in 2015.
As expected, ‘Forever’ follows a similar formula to its predecessors. A “hands in the air” orchestral intro, featuring a godly church organ, seamlessly transitions into a gracefully melodic break/build up, which in turn, perfectly sets up the emphatic drop that follows. Martin Garrix and Matisse & Sadko are undoubtedly, a formula for success.
