Sam Smith‘s record label enlisted the help of  Galantis for his new single ‘Too Good at Goodbyes.’ The Galantis remix takes Smith’s mournful track into pop territory with the new addition of their characteristic dance pop synths. The lyrics explores similar themes as his previous material, about break ups and parting from former lovers.

The remix package also features a slowed down R&B rendition by Snakehips. However, it is Galantis’ version that adds catchier elements to a track that in its original form is about an emotional heartbreak.

The pairing of Smith with Galantis is a match made in music heaven, as the Swedish duo produced some of pop music’s biggest hits, such as Britney Spears’ iconic ‘Piece of Me‘. Smith is no stranger to the dance music world, either, with the Disclosure single ‘Latch’ propelling the Englishman into superstar status worldwide.

Too Good At Goodbyes‘ is the lead single from Smith’s sophomore album, the follow up to his smash hit album Songs for the Lonely Hour. Rumored producers include Clean Bandit, the electronic crossover group who won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording, and British DJ Naughty Boy.
