David Guetta’s anthem ‘Titanium’ turns 6 years old
Six years have elapsed since David Guetta and Sia teamed up to deliver the world one of their greatest tracks; ‘Titanium‘. The track gained huge recognition around the world and became a festival mainstage staple. The track has also amassed over 750 million YouTube views since it was uploaded in December of 2011 and remains as one of Guetta’s best songs to date.
‘Titanium’ was one of many successful singles on David Guetta’s 2011 album ‘Nothing But The Beat‘ with other track such as ‘Turn Me On‘ with Nicki Minaj, ‘Without You‘ with Usher and ‘Where Them Girls At‘ with Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida being some of the many other chart-toppers from the iconic album. The aforementioned singles helped ‘Nothing But The Beat’ skyrocket to phenomenal heights, achieving Platinum status in 8 different countries, Gold status in 9 countries and topping more than 10 different charts across the globe.
6 years on and David Guetta has significantly changed his sound. With newer songs such as ‘Hey Mama‘ with Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha & Afrojack, ‘So Far Away‘ with Martin Garrix, and 2U” with Justin Bieber, it goes to show the extent of which the EDM scene has grown and changed in such a short period.
