Digitalism – Utopia (Joris Voorn Remix)

German producers and DJs Jens Moelle and Ismail Tufekci, AKA Digitalism, have unveiled their hotly anticipated production ‘Utopia’ with legendary Dutch producer Joris Voorn spinning a dynamic and eclectic reworking of the original.

Showcasing their rich electronica sounds across the release, the Hamburg duo lace the production with swells of synth-based chords, diving deep into the core Digitalism sound they’ve become so famed for.

Jence added:

“We’re not only exploring how thin the line between reality and the virtual realm has become, but also musically entering a territory that feels new but very comfortable for us at the same time. It’s like a slingshot into something super exciting.”

Starting their career in 2001, producing vibrant live sets, the Digitalism boys soon signed to Kitsune, with their release ‘Zdarlight’ still acting as one of their most famed to this day. Following up the release with ‘Jupiter Room’ from their Idealism’ album, Digitalism soon became synonymous with their unique and original electronic productions, a crossover sound with roots found in both indie and techno.

The album, now celebrating a decade since release, became an instant classic in the indie electro scene, establishing Digitalism as one of the biggest acts in the genre, alongside notable acts such as Simian Mobile Disco, Justice, and Boys Noize.
