Zedd hints at Sam Smith collaboration

Two music worlds look set to collide as electronic DJ Zedd has hinted at a possible collaboration with English singer and songwriter Sam Smith. Russian-German producer Zedd, real name Anton Zaslavski, took to his Twitter account posting a picture alongside the Grammy Award winner with the caption ‘Z+S‘.

The picture had originally surfaced on Rukes website as part of a 2017 recap, but the ‘Clarity‘ mastermind has reignited speculation that the two could be set on producing the next big track when electronic music meets the pop world again. While the details fall somewhat short of any confirmed collaboration news, fans are already expressing their excitement for what could be one spectacular production in the works if the pair intends on working their magic together in the studio.

So what can we expect the collaboration to sound like? Most likely a true heavenly masterpiece. Zedd’s talent over the years has seen the DJ produced an array of feel-good and vocally driven anthems such as ‘Stay‘ featuring Alessia Cara to the impressive ‘I Want You To Know‘ with Selena Gomez. Now add 4-time Grammy Award winner Sam Smith to the mix and it is a concoction that ticks all boxes on the checklist. Sam Smith’s breakout came when the singer featured on Disclosure‘s hit single ‘Latch‘ and since then the 25-year-old has enjoyed monumental success.
