Marshmello – Check This Out

Marshmello has been churning out quality track after track ahead of the summer season and his upcoming album release. Following the success the first single off the ‘Joytime II‘ LP ‘Tell Me‘, the American DJ and producer released a surprise collaboration with rappers G-Eazy and Vic Mensa, and has now released the second single from his upcoming album. Marshmello’s rise to stardom has no doubt been one of the most rapid and exciting in recent years. The American producer has compiled an impressive list of successful releases and awards after launching the project in 2015.

His latest single ‘Check This Out’ is taken from his upcoming album ‘Joytime II’ which will follow the successful release of his first compilation LP ‘Joytime’ in 2016 and promises to bring more exciting music to our ears. Similar to ‘Tell Me’, Marshmello goes back to his roots for ‘Check This Out’ with an instrumental track which resembles some of the original productions which gained him the early support. He maintains his signature sounds and vibe though a catchy melody and a powerful bass which will put anyone in a good mood when listening, whilst also featuring some more experimental sounds and tempo changes throughout. This shows that Marshmello will look to build on his signature sound on ‘Joytime II’ to create a new sound.

Marshmello has also been in the news recently after entering E3’s Fortnite Pro-Am tournament with Ninja. Together they won the battle after an intense competition. The duo won a total $3 million in prize money deciding to split  $1 million to go to any charity of their choice. The remaining money will be divided among the other 49 competitors, which included DJs Arty, Drezo, and Dillon Francis.
