Dutch supergroup METAFO4R are stepping
Dutch supergroup METAFO4R are stepping into the spotlight as they take over the Tomorrowland mainstage. Made up of DJ duos Firebeatz and DubVision, the group came together earlier this year, fusing the two duo’s stellar résumés together. A new beginning for house music, METAFO4R brings a distinctive, progressive sound touching intellectual techno beats, yet still melodic and lovable for large audiences.
Promising to deliver an undeniably entertaining show, the group sent out a tweet claiming they’ll drop “MORE THAN 20 ID’S TOMORROW” [sic]. While this may seem far-fetched, their only performance together came during EDC Las Vegas in May this year, where the vast majority of their set was comprised on unreleased tracks, mashed together popular acapellas from many mainstage hits.
METAFO4R doesn’t just deliver electronic music, aim to convey a complete main stage show with a different perspective on existing sounds. It’s DubVision and Firebeatz, but tilted. It’s built on the fortitude of two outstanding duo’s while adding chemistry and colour.
