Two of dance music’s most iconic figures, Steve Angello and Eric Prydz, have built an impressive catalogue of releases over the years, bringing them fame and most importantly touching the lives of millions of music lovers all around the world. Not many people will know that the two joined forces back in 2004 on an adaptation of the 1980s track ‘Wheel Me Out’ by American pop group Was (Not Was). Their collab was appropriately named ‘Woz Not Woz’, released by Cr2 Records and rocked dancefloors all around the world for many years. Charting at number 1 on Belgian dance charts and number 2 on the UK dance charts.

Both artists have heavily evolved their projects and style but the track truly reflects the roots of modern house and dance music. Driven by a simple but strong beat, a groovy bassline and funky elements, the track combines the house style with the sound of the 80s seamlessly, making it truly sound like a timeless record which would still rock a club today.

Steve Angello is currently part of the imminent Swedish House Mafia reunion. Though the trio recently split from their legendary manager, they also hinted heavily at a studio return and a world tour in 2019, which has fans all over the world excited to see them performing live again and hear some new game changing music.

Eric Prydz has also had a great year so far, releasing new tracks under his many aliases and delivering spectacular shows defined by an impeccable music and visual curation. Most recently he gave a spectacular set at Tomorrowland 2018, debuting three completely new ID’s according to 1001tracklists, with the 3 being played nearly one after another. He is also back in Ibiza for his icredible Hï Ibiza hereresidency on Tuesday so be sure to check it out for more information.
