Marshmello confirms collaboration with hip-hop sensation Juice WRLD
Coming off an incredible break-out 2018, young hip-hop sensation Juice WRLD has been lighting it up across Spotify. Known for his breakout hit ‘Lucid Dreams‘, 19 year old Jared Higgins is an incredible change of mood to the ever evolving hip-hop scene, and it’s once again our fluffy friend who’s capitalizing on the hip-hop youngsters versatility. That’s right, Marshmello announced via Twitter that the hit makers have been working diligently on a new tune featuring producer and fellow Moe Shalizi client, Southside of the notable production crew 808 Mafia.

Working with several hip-hop artist throughout the recent months including Juicy J, Migos, Logic, and more, Marshmello is becoming his own A&R in a sense, as he’s seeming more and more willing to push and experiment within the confines of his own sound. Featuring a love for bouncy 808’s and carrying a cadence and vibe similar Marshmello’s friend and late collaborator Lil Peep, we can only imagine what the Juice WRLD collaboration will sound like.
Judging by the verbiage of the post, it sounds as if their tune has been completed and without any prior knowledge it seems the joint effort was both started and finished rather quick. Nevertheless, with no announcement date, time frame for the tune or even audio snippet, Marshmello sure knows how to garner fans and listeners interest by adding such high profile names to the proverbial pot.
