The Chainsmokers release ‘This Feeling’ with Kelsea Ballerini

When looking back at breakthrough artists from the last couple of years, The Chainsmokers are definitely going to stand out towards the top of the list. The duo consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall has pretty much shaken the music industry over the course of the last couple of years. Going on tours through cities worldwide thanks to their successful album ‘Memories… do not open’. Featuring some of The Chainsmokers’ most successful tracks, such as ‘Paris’ and ‘Something Just Like This’. Today, The Chainsmokers continue to be unstoppable, taking over the world with their unique blend of pop and electronic. Having just recently celebrated their 2016 smash hit ‘Closer’ with Halsey reaching diamond status after selling over 10 million units, the duo shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Their latest release is an unexpected collaboration with country superstar Kelsea Ballerini. ‘This Feeling’ is an incredibly catchy track which blends the two artists’ styles effortlessly to produce a truly special outcome. Kelsea Ballerini is an incredible artist who has achieved so much despite her young age. Named on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 – Music list at number two. In 2017, Ballerini received two Academy of Country Music Award nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year for ‘Peter Pan‘.

In a recent interview, Kelsea Ballerini spoke about her admiration for The Chainsmokers, saying:

“I love that they write their stuff. They’re songwriters which I relate to so much and respect a whole lot. I love their stuff. I’ve covered it for a couple concerts too which is really fun. Last year I was opening for Lady Antebellum and I covered ‘Closer’ and then I did an Instagram cover of ‘Paris.’
