Home Uncategorized Avicii’s ‘Stories’ album turns 3 years old

Having burst onto the scene around 2010 with his breakthrough hit ‘Seek Bromance’, few DJs enjoyed the meteoric rise propelled upon Swedish talent Avicii. Though the Stockholm-born producer tragically passed away in April this year, his music continues to resonate with fans all around the world, and today we celebrate the 3 year anniversary of his ‘Stories’ album, which dropped in October 2015.

A follow-up to the hugely successful 2013 Avicii album ‘True’, which spawned hits like Hey Brotherand ‘Wake Me Up’, Tim’s ‘Stories’ album demonstrated his artistic craft with heavy instrumental use via guitars, pianos, and even brass and percussive elements. Birthing the fan favourite ‘Waiting For Love’ which has so far amassed over 500 million Spotify streams, the album was also responsible for stellar hits like ‘The Nights’ and ‘Ten More Days’ – with the latter used during a poignant moment in his 2017 docu-movie, which combined both his album names to form the title ‘True Stories.’

With every passing day, the pain of the great loss to this world only cuts deeper but there’s no better way to honour the incredible talent of this legendary figure than by reliving his past work. With that in mind, Avicii – ‘Stories’ is available below in full entirety, so buckle up for a nostalgic drive down memory lane…
