Electric Daisy Carnival, short EDC, is definitely on the list of the best festivals worldwide, amongst other huge events such as Ultra Music FestivalCreamfields, and Tomorrowland. Even though EDC’s homeland is the city of Las Vegas, the brand has expanded to multiple other cities – both in the United States as well as to other countries around the globe. Last weekend, Electric Daisy Carnival took place in Orlando, once again delivering the finest mix of stage design, effects and, most importantly, artists. DJs that took the stage last weekend included names such as Timmy TrumpetPendulum, and Vini Vici. Undoubtly, one of the biggest and most famous names of the whole festival was legendary Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto, who delivered a stunning set at kineticFIELD during sunset.

The 49-year-old Dutchman is known for his great sets, consisting of his own music, music published by his label Musical Freedomand third-party songs. Tiësto is a mastermind in playing both classic tunes and new tracks together in one set. His collab with a, back then, young Oliver Heldens ‘Wombass’ was part of his set, just to be followed by Gigi D’Agostinis hit ‘In My Mind’. Tiësto’s evergreens ‘Secrets’ together with Sassy and ‘Split (Only U)’ with The Chainsmokers was obviously also part of the sunset slot at EDC Orlando.

Tiësto is known for collaborating with many unknown and upcoming artists, just like he did in the past with Oliver Heldens, Jauz, and Martin Garrix before they all became famous. Therefore, it came as no surprise when Tiësto played his tracks ‘BOOM’ with Sevenn and ‘Jackie Chan’ with Dzeko and Hip-Hop superstar Post Malone.

The former #1 DJ in the world ended his set with a tribute to Avicii by playing the W&W bootleg of ‘Levels’ and with GAMMER’s flip of one of the most played tracks of the year: Ran-D’s ‘Zombie’.
