Martin Garrix & Mike Yung

Martin Garrix & Mike Yung perform their track ‘Dreamer’ on Good Morning America

After his success on America’s Got Talent in 2017, Mike Yung‘s voice became known to the world. With interest for the 58 year old spiking, Martin Garrix snapped him up for his recent release  ‘Dreamer‘. The Philadelphia singer played a pivotal part in making the track special, with his phenomenal vocals coupling Garrix’s instrumental work perfectly. The story behind the track production itself is a particularly good read, but the remarkable performance by Mike Yung and Garrix on Good Morning America illustrates it even better.

Backed by a 6 strong choral group, Garrix joined Yung on this acoustic rendition whilst supporting a guitar. The stripped back, casual version of the track is simple yet extremely effective, and instant popularity of both the track and Yung is shown in the comments and responses the video has received. Immersion and separation from the outside world allows the pair to channel everything through the performance, and the stunned audience take it all in.

Rather than try to explain this masterpiece, experience it for yourself in the clip below.
