After an intense year of releases and touring for The Chainsmokers, the duo have once again continued to deliver and this time it’s in the form of a special exclusive Thanksgiving Mix for Annie Nightingale on BBC’s Radio 1. The duo has steadily been evolving not only their sound and what genre they can technically be classified within, but also their set dynamic – now seen heavily moving into a live set format. The most notable thing with this newly adorned Chainsmokers performance and image shift is the uncanny ability to never truly be able to experience the same Chainsmokers set twice, and the duo takes that to the extreme in their exclusive mix on BBC Radio 1. Teaming up with Ty Dolla $ign and DJ Mustard, two heavily notable hip-hop names, The Chainsmokers set was hip-hop dominate including remixes of popular hip-hop tunes ranging nearly a decade in years such as Travis Scott’sNo Bystanders,Juice WRLD’sAll Girls Are The Same,’ and 50 Cent’sJust A Lil Bit.

Once again, the mix was just another step in The Chainsmokers hectic year, the duo are also dealing with the release of their album ‘Sick Boy‘ which seemingly adds another new song every other week. This time it’s the tunes, ‘This Feeling‘ featuring Kelsea Ballerini and ‘Beach House‘ that have popped up as new releases on the album. Surely navigating a rolling album release is a hectic project in itself, on top of global tour dates and months of being away at a time surely the year has taken a toll on the duo. So to The Chainsmokers, we give you the utmost respect for the sheer amount of work that has gone into your 2018 so far.
