Undoubtedly two of the UK’s most loved producers, Tom Staar & Kryder, teamed up (not for the first – or last – time!) on this day in 2014, unveiling their slick hit ‘Jericho’. With Tom famed for his progressive sound, and Kryder known best for his latin-inspired grooves, ‘Jericho’ embodied everything that fans have come to love from the duo, and is still regularly played by some of the world’s biggest DJs all the way through to 2018.
Laced with rumbling hooks and a delicious breakdown, ‘Jericho’ helped to put both producers on the map following release in 2014, with Tom Staar previously working with ‘Style of Eye’, aka one half of Galantis, in 2013. Since then, Staar has enjoyed success with a number of releases on Axwell’s Axtone label, whilst Kryder has recently set up his own Kryteria Records label – which played host to some of the groove movement’s biggest names during a boat party at Amsterdam Dance Event 2018.
