Armin van Buuren – Turn It Up

Just days after receiving a gold certification for his 2016 collaboration ‘Great Spirit’ with Vini Vici and Hilight Tribe, Armin van Buuren returns with yet another psy-trance banger titled ‘Turn It Up’. AvB already premiered the track during his mainstage set at ASOT900 Festival in Utrecht, the Netherlands on February 23rd, knowing that the catchy tune could become a crowd’s favorite  once again.

‘Turn It Up’ starts off with a fast paced psy-trance bassline, before the cheerful vocals kick in chanting: “One, two, we’re coming for you, we don’t give a whoop gonna break some rules… Three, four, watch your door, when the neighbours shout turn it up some more, turn it up, up, up!” The track surely reminds us a lot of Armin van Buuren’s previous festival anthem and crowd favorite ‘Blah Blah Blah’, with its similar beats, melodic chords and slightly high-pitched vocal hooks. Nevertheless, fans who attended ASOT900 immediately picked up on the track, as they cheered along and danced to ‘Turn It Up’ like there was no tomorrow.

Armin van Buuren is currently in the French Alps, where he delivered an uplifting mainstage set last night at Tomorrowland Winter, celebrating the festival’s inaugural edition of its winter version. The mainstage also saw performances by Martin Solveig, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
