Gesaffelstein has made huge waves since dropping his newest music, and his recent set at the world-renowned festival Coachella had everyone talking. Wearing a silver mask that covered his entire face and performing with equipment coated in Vantablack – the darkest substance made by man – becoming the first ever artist to use that substance in a live set, Gesaffelstein is someone who knows exactly how to put on a mind-melting performance with pure music. Hot off the stage, the French genius excited fans even more in the form of a new music video.

The music video for huge Pharrell Williams collab “Blast Off” -directed by Warren Fu – is a sci-fi lovers dream. Looking like he had came straight from the Coachella stage to the set of this video, Gesaffelstein is accompanied by Pharrell, who are both surrounded by trippy visuals and a sleek dark colour palette of blacks, whites, blues and greens. Dropping the video after Coachella was a genius idea as its clear to see the connection between the set and the music video, from Gesaffelstein’s clothing to the equipment he performs on.

Watch the visually stunning official music video for Gesaffelstein & Pharrell Williams – “Blast Off” below.
