27-year old Norwegian DJ and producer Kygo (real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll) has been keeping himself really busy for the past few months. Shortly after taking the 5th place on Billboard’s Dance 100 Artists of 2019 and releasing his latest track ‘Think About You’ with Valerie Broussard as well as an official music video for it, which features American actor Dylan Sprouse, Kygo is back with another big collaboration.
The young tropical house producer has teamed up with one of the biggest and busiest talents in the industry, British singer and songwriter Rita Ora. They both already teased the release of the song on their social media, posting the artwork for it, revealing the title ‘Carry On’ and the release date, which is set for the upcoming Friday (April 19th). The collaboration will be featured on the soundtrack of the upcoming Pokémon: Detective Pikachu movie, which will premiere next month all over the world.
Sadly no previews of the track have been revealed yet, but judging on the previous big collaborations from the artist with singers like Selena Gomez on ‘It Ain’t Me’ and Ellie Goulding on ‘First Time’, we can be sure that there’s another big hit on the way. It is safe to say, that it will nicely combine Kygo’s signature energetic tropical house with Rita Ora’s powerful vocals into a banger, that will easily climb to the top of the global charts.
