Alesso unveils fresh ID at EDC Las Vegas

As Electric Daisy Carnival comes to a close, there were a multitude of new tracks that were roaring through Las Vegas’ Motor Speedway over the weekend. One of those debuted was the new progressive ID by Swedish sensation Alessandro Lindblad, aka Alesso.

The Swede has experienced quite the criticism over recent years from his transition from his most notable progressive sound with hits like ‘Calling’, ‘Years’, ‘Heroes (We Could Be)’ to a more pop sound to cater to a wider audience. Recently, Alesso dabbled back into his roots with his 2018 Tomorrowland Weekend 2 set almost being exclusively progressive house which gained an adamant amount of praise from fans. In March, he released a mixtape “Progresso Volume I” that got fans excited yet again that Alesso is back.

Fast forward to Friday night, Alesso debuted a young ID with a strong melodic tone that the Swedish DJ is known for. The track includes a euphoric melody and strong bassline. The ID has seen quick praise across social media over the weekend and has fans excited Alesso is working on progressive sounds. As the summer passes by, we’ll see this tune being played across the biggest stages by the superstar to get fans ready for more progressive hits.

Check out the ID at the 10:20 mark here.
