Alesso to feature in new Netflix Black Mirror spin-off series

When the name ‘Alesso‘ is mentioned, your first thought will no doubt run to the whopping pantheon of hits that the Swedish DJ has bestowed upon the EDM world during the past decade. Responsible for iconic tracks such as ‘Calling’, ‘Falling’, his remix of ‘Pressure’, and various collaborations with the likes of Calvin Harris and Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso is truly one of the greatest producers of all time.

But now, the Swede is set to make his acting debut in the new online series ‘Little Black Mirror‘, a spin-off series of Netflix‘ hugely popular programme ‘Black Mirror’. Directed by Charlie Brooker, the psychologically thrilling drama series focuses on human society’s dependance on human technology. With the latest season dropping in June, the next episodes of ‘Black Mirror’ will feature special guest cameos from Miley Cyrus, and the new Captain America, Anthony Mackie.

Following his acting debut, Alesso is set to perform in London on Saturday 22nd June, with a huge pre-party taking place on iconic rooftop venue Doggett’s Coat & Badge. With tickets still available for only £10, the event is set to feature sets from Axtone, Kryteria, and Release Records starlet Pete K, and highly-rated UK duoB△RRIC△DE.
