With EDC Las Vegas being one of the biggest events on the annual electronic calendar, the expectation for music producers to dominate their performances continues to reach soaring heights. But year on year, that’s exactly what happens at the in-demand music event in Nevada which sees the most prominent talent on the circuit head to Vegas for arguably one of the best parties of the year. From debut newcomers to veteran names, EDC never disappoints. One music producer bringing the party this year was American DJ and record producer Nathaniel “Nate” Rathbun, known to most fans as Audien. Already being hailed as one of the most exciting sets from this years event, Audien stepped up to raise the bar and, rest assured, he threw down in style.

Described as bringing the ‘feels’ to fans who laid eyes upon the artist, Audien tackled circuitGROUNDS on Day 1 of the event in dominating fashion. Packing plenty of transitions, edits and raging drops into a small allotted time frame, his performance is worthy of many replays. Here’s We Rave You‘s top picks from a stunning set.

Kicking off his performance to remember, Audien welcomed the crowd with the sounds of his own highly addictive track ‘Higher‘, an emotive body of music with an uplifting spirit and dreamy vocals thanks to Cecilia Gault. The elegant nature of the set was soon to turn heads with the sounds of the underground unearthing in style as Audien got to grips with Curbi and Hasse de Moor‘s booming collaboration ‘ADHD‘. Versatile with attention to detail, Audien’s keen ear for monster tracks at monster events was easily demonstrated among his track selection. The American dropped crowd-pleasers such as Seth Hills & Crime Zcene – ‘Echo‘, Arty’s nod to the late Avicii with his profound track ‘Tim‘, and the powerful ‘Wake Me Up‘ from Avicii and Aloe Blacc.

If you haven’t heard of Audien yet, he’s well and truly on your radar now. With a stunningly bright future ahead, we can’t wait to see the producer at his next event or what Nathaniel in store next for his growing fan base.
