Between 2014 and 2018, legendary DJ and producer Kryder gave upcoming artists a chance to prove their talent with the revolutionary Sosumi Records, where he was able to create a tight community of groove lovers who have stuck together over the years. His new label in collaboration with Spinnin’ Records, Kryteria Records, has just released its latest ‘God Save The Groove’ compilation album. This second volume, titled ‘The Miami Edition‘ builds on the success of the first compilation by including only the best house, tech house and groove house music from a wide variety of talents. One of the stand-out tracks from this compilation is no doubt the highly anticipated collaboration between Al Sharif, Pete K and Stevie Krash titled ‘Soul Heaven’, which has been making a significant amount of noise thanks to its infectious hook and distinct sound.
All three artists display their incredible studio talent on this production whilst still maintaining their signature sound on the record. Which starts off with a piano softly playing the main hook as it is accompanied by some melodic elements which quickly build into a massive drop where groovy and melodic elements combine to create an irresistible dance floor killer. The main breakdown is also built around the main piano chord hook and features a combination of organic and synthetic elements which accompany it perfectly into the second drop, where even more energy is released, making this the perfect party track thanks to its unique sound and infectious rhythm
2019 is looking to be yet another great year for the San Diego-based Al Sharif, who has already added on his already impressive catalogue of releases with his collaboration with Sunday Noise and Uncore ‘Lies‘. Making him a definite name to look out for in the near future.
