Home Uncategorized Steve Aoki re-releases ‘Warp’ on track’s 10 year anniversary

Back in 2009, Steve Aoki and The Bloody Beetroots released a single that would pave the way for dance music. Warp 1.9 was released 10 years ago, and was followed up with Warp 2.0Warp 1977 and Warp 7.7. Whilst the original ‘Warp 1.9‘ featured hard hitting bass lines and vocals from Steve Aoki, it has been a mainstage stalwart; featuring in sets from the likes of Diplo, Skrillex and David Guetta.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of ‘Warp 1.9‘, Steve’s esteemed label – Dim Mak – have released a limited edition vinyl. With 2000 pressings of the deluxe double vinyl being made, with each record being a 12 inch, 180 gram heavyweight vinyl. Featuring handwritten comments from Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo aka The Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki, they have both provided an insight into Warp 1.9.

You can stream the digital version below, which includes all 4 versions of the track, or alternatively, you can purchase the vinyl here.
