Dog Blood drop new EP ‘Turn Off The Lights’

2019 has been a year of diversity & nostalgia for Skrillex. Having brought back his band; ‘From First To Last’ back in February, as well as Dog Blood, it was quickly established that Skrillex would be a man on a mission this year. From their set at Ultra, to their latest mini mix, the duo comprising of Skrillex and Boys Noize have kept the electronic music world on the edge of its seat. Now, they’re set to turn up the heat, with their latest EP; ‘Turn Off The Lights’.

Flaunting the duo’s eclectic production abilities, while retaining their sound’s core elements, Dog Blood cover a number of genres in their new 4-track EP. While ‘BREAK LAW’ and ‘4 MIND’ draw a heavy Breaks/experimental influence, flaunting the duo’s marvellous creativity, ‘KOKOE’ and ‘Turn Off The Lights’ both prove to be more dancefloor friendly, with their 4/4 kicks, heavy and Bass/Electro House nature.

‘Turn Off The Lights’ has been a highly-awaited body of work, with the duo’s last EP coming in the form of Middle Finger Pt. 2′While a remix album did follow some 6 months later, it did not feature any remixes from Skrillex or Boys Noize.
