Home Uncategorized Martin Garrix is back with first show since ankle injury

During a set in Las Vegas on May 25th, Martin Garrix sadly suffered a serious ankle injury, tearing all his ligaments, – not stopping him from pushing through to try and finish his set, ultimately having to cut it short – which forced him to undergo surgery or risk doing permanent damage. A press release was issued stating that Garrix had no choice but to cancel all upcoming shows to ensure he could get the proper rest to recover, but now he’s back.

Not one to stay out of the game for a long time, Martin proved it would take more than an ankle injury to keep him down and announced to fans across all his socials that he would be shortly returning to shows and resuming his touring schedule. His first show back will be at Ushuaïa in Ibiza on July 4th which marks the kickoff of his third residency at the legendary poolside club and will go on until 29th August. The post also stated that it would take a while before his ankle was completely back to normal and will not be able to jump around as much on stage, but fans can be assured that Martin Garrix will still bring all the energy into his spectacular sets.
