Skrillex to be featured on new Ed Sheeran album

It’s no secret that Ed Sheeran is one of the worlds biggest and most in demand singer/songwriters around right now. With many massively successful releases under his belt already, he is destined to break even more records with his latest project. ‘No.6 Collaborations’ was fully announced earlier last week – after teasing the project for some time across social media – featuring a tracklist boasting an impressive amount of huge artists, but one collaboration instantly caught our eyes.

Roping in the powerhouse producer Skrillex for the fourteenth collaboration spot on the album, their track is titled ‘Way To Break My Heart’. Whilst this may seem like an unlikely pairing, Skrillex and Ed have been working on something together since September of 2017 which was brought to light through an Instagram post by Ed Sheeran showing the two engrossed in work on a laptop which means that this track has been cooking for a long time. Developing a friendship through work, Skrillex even brought Ed on stage during an intimate DJ set. There are currently no hints towards what  ‘Way To Break My Heart’ could sound like, and fans thoughts are running wild, but we do know is that these two artists are more than capable of creating pure magic together.
