Armin van Buuren meets youth cancer survivors at Untold Festival

Besides touring all over the world, constantly delivering some new music, having an on-going residency in Ibiza, running his ASOT radio show and recording the Armin VLOGs, Armin van Buuren always finds a way to prove us that he is just as human as we are. Earlier this month, Armin Van Buuren invited 10 fortunate cancer survivors from all over the continent to a meet-and-greet at Untold Festival 2019, hosted by Youth Cancer Europe. The organization has an evolving partnership with the festival (YCExUNTOLD), with the mission to help shape European policy, promote research, fight for better treatments and better conditions for young people fighting cancer.

The king of trance music was in Cluj, Romania to make the 5th edition of the festival unforgettable with his mind-blowing 7,5-hour set – breaking his last year’s uplifting 7-hour record. He arrived at the location a day earlier for the rehearsals, interviews and for his production team to get everything ready.  But also to make time for the non-profit organization and to raise awareness about the importance of youth cancer. The team of ten at Untold Festival could join Armin Van Buuren for pictures, chats, and autographs, but they also had the opportunity to participate the Dutch DJ’s press conference before he stepped on to the holy ground of his stage.
