Armin Van Buuren launches the first single from his latest addition to his A State Of Trance mix album series: ‘A State Of Trance, Ibiza 2019’. Armin has been personally selecting tracks since 2004 that had the most impact on the trance world over the past year and assemble it into an immense mixtape trying to capture and remind us all of the unforgettable moments and emotions that we have experienced throughout this summer.

The album will be released on 16th August, separated into two sections: ‘On The Beach’ and ‘In The Club’. The first part allows us to let loose and relax under a palm tree with cocktails in our hands as we listen to the chilled melodies, while the latter drives us through the night with more intense build-ups and darker trance tunes. Altogether, the album comes with 44 euphoric productions and you can already pre-order it here.

If it doesn’t get you excited yet, the brand new single, ‘Cosmos’ was released from the mixtape, under Armin’s beloved alias, Rising Star – a side project that is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year. The fresh track is featuring the beautiful Romanian singer, Alexandra Badoi‘s vocals in her native language.

“Singing for – and creating a track with – Armin van Buuren is a dream come true for me. The lyrics of ‘Cosmos’ are in my own language, ‘Romanian’, and I feel that only strengthens the belief that music is a universal language, as ‘Cosmos’ is all about sharing pure emotion.”- Alexandra Badoi

It is no coincidence that the Dutch DJ released the track just before the commence of Untold Festival, that takes place between 1-4 August in Cluj-Napoca, the western part of Romania. He made a tradition of playing exclusive 7-hour sets each year, but we are looking forward to seeing what he has prepared for this year’s chapter. The five-time #1 DJ in the world was responsible for the annual anthem and is said to bring his own production team from the Netherlands all the way to Romania, to create magic tomorrow evening with the longest mainstage show ever! We will keep you updated, but until then, relive last year’s legendary set here.
