Becoming a fast rising star in the industry, Otto Yliperttula who is well known by stage name Yotto has burst onto the scene with a colossal bang. Playing with different styles of house and techno, Yotto is a jack-of-all-trades and that helped him to captivate the attention of Anjunadeep label head James Grant which ultimately led him to releasing his debut as a solo act on the same label back in 2015 and has become a staple name in the Anjuna family. As well as this, the Finnish producer took a large step in the music business and officially launched his own label. Named Odd One Out, he first aims to focus on mainly releasing his own music but hopes to sign additional artists in the future, and he’s making all the right steps to get further ahead.
Very recently, Yotto unleashed a new heater in the form of techno goodness. Named ‘Nova’, it means ‘a star showing a sudden large increase in brightness’, which couldn’t be more reflective of this bright star’s career. Featuring uplifting techno-fueled beats throughout, this is a track made for the most energetic, intimate and dark dancefloors all over the world. Reflective of its name, it has injections of space-like themes, transporting listeners to an entirely new world for the duration of the track. In true techno fashion, Yotto has released an extended version to go with the original, spanning across eight minutes.
Marking the second ever release on the Odd One Out imprint, this proves that he is working hard to ensure only the very best quality material gets released and we can’t wait to see what it brings next! Listen to the original and extended versions below.
