Alesso, SUMR CAMP – In The Middle

Recent news broke of Swedish sensation Alesso leaving his management Shots to join Marshmello manager Moe Shalizi‘s management company The Shalizi Group earlier this week. In a move that no one saw coming, it means we can expect big things from Alesso in the coming months given Moe Shalizi’s success as a manager (and therefore his artist’s successes too) and just days into the duo’s partnership, the wheels are already turning as Alesso releases new music, and what better way to celebrate a new addition to The Shalizi Group than that?

Already getting friendly with the roster on the same management as him, Alesso has chosen SUMR CAMP (which heavy speculation says is Ookay, another DJ who is on Shalizi’s roster) to collaborate with on unexpected new track ‘In The Middle’. Serving up some darker house vibes than the usual progressive style he’s known for, this is helped by the influence of SUMR CAMP’s sounds. If one thing is typical of Alesso in this track though, it has to be the female vocal hook that compliments the style of the track perfectly. The drop serves up perfect two-stepping beats that will simultaneously make you want to throw your hands up in the air and fist-pump to the synths.
