Martin Garrix confirms the rumours, ‘Someone You Loved’ remix is coming

The Dutch superstar DJ and producer Martin Garrix is giving his audience more and more fresh tunes. We have no idea how he can keep up such a busy touring schedule and still release such quality content all the time! In one of his previous shows he already dropped the upcoming remix of Lewis Capaldi‘s ‘Someone You Loved’, now he played it for the second time and confirmed the rumours of the release with his announcement that can be heard in the video below.

The rumours started when Martin and the Scottish singer and songwriter Lewis Capaldi followed each other on social media in the beginning of September. Now the remix is official and it is the first single remix that Garrix has done ever since his 2015, The Weeknd‘s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ rework, besides that the only remix that he has done in the past few years was his collaboration with Cesqeaux on ‘Ocean’ featuring Khalid. As we know remixes aren’t really his thing anymore, so we can be sure that there was definitely something outstanding that he felt while listening to this song so that he decided to take his spin on it.

The original track is very emotional, featuring soft instrumental combined with powerful vocals by Lewis, so as Martin Garrix reworked it with his signature sound, he brought the beat up, making it ready to be the next essential track of the DJ sets all around the world. It has a very uplifting sound, although the lyrics of the track are kinda sad, it still leaves you on a positive note, as he sings about fighting through the pain.

Sadly there is no release date of the remix yet, but it will definitely be worth the wait! In the meantime you can check out the first episode of STMPD RCRDS Radio Show here, that has just been announced earlier this week.
