DJ Falcon & Thomas Bangalter – Together (Henry Carlin Remix)
DJ Falcon and one half of Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter, made pure magic when they released their collaborative masterpiece ‘Together’ back in August 2000. It was the debut single of their collaborative project Together which would see them team up to become a DJ duo. Releasing on Bangalter’s own imprint Roulé, they released another single after ‘Together’ titled ‘So Much Love To Give’ in 2002. Although their project was short lived, their tracks lived on and ‘Together’ became an iconic anthem with Daft Punk even using it in their ‘Alive 2007’ sets. A perfect example of what the electronic music scene was like back then, ‘Together’ is almost a cult classic in the world of French house music and now rising star Henry Carlin is giving it a modern spin on his enticing remix.
Henry Carlin is a DJ and producer based in Ireland. Already impressing the big leagues, Armin van Buuren has previously played out his Underworld ‘Scribble’ remix on A State of Trance radio show and he also has ties to Universal Music Ireland. With other producers like Kryder, Sander van Doorn and Bingo Players supporting his art, he is on track to becoming a huge star and we can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store for him.
Onto the remix itself, and this one needs to be heard. Getting a lot of good feedback from supporters and producers alike already, this extra special remix combines the best of older French house and some newer takes on electronic music of today. Giving ‘Together’ a fresh coat of paint, this one will make you wish you were at a festival with all your friends dancing til your heart’s content. With a drop that is the perfect amount of subtle and energetic as to not take away from how brilliant the original is, this is a gem of a track.
