Calvin Harris teases new music on his Instagram

Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris is finally back with some fresh music. The year 2019 was pretty quiet for the artist, music wise, he had a couple of releases, including his Rag’n’Bone Man collaboration ‘Giant’ and the reworks of his 2019 release ‘I’m Not Alone’. However he is starting off the new decade pretty strong, he was just announced as a part of the Coachella 2020 lineup for both weekends, where he will be performing alongside A-class names like Lane 8, Peggy Gou and TNGHT and confirmed the speculations about some new music on his twitter account.

In the same thread Calvin later on revealed that he has been experimenting with sounds and that we can expect something completely new and different from his previous releases and that he will be dropping something in the upcoming weeks. Now we finally got a preview of what the new style might sound like, as he shared a video on his Instagram, not really explaining it much in the caption, staying mysterious and leaving the rest to our imagination.

Although the artist has been mostly known for his Electro House and Electro-pop hits, we are really fond of this new style that he is trying out. We already got a short preview of that in his accidental drop of ‘Peace Love Happiness v3’ back in November, where he premiered the house vibe that he has been trying out. The track in his Instagram post is very groovy, featuring a drum n bass break, which is completely different from his signature sounds, but it works really well in this case. Sadly we are unable to hear the drop, but hopefully this is the new music that Calvin Harris was talking about on his Twitter and we’ll be hearing the entire thing in just a couple of weeks, but for now this Electro/Acid House track remains an ID.
