Example returns with fresh hit ‘Back On The Wreck’ on Oliver Heldens’ label: Listen

Best known for his huge early 2010s hits ‘Kickstarts’ and ‘Won’t Go Quietly’, UK rapper/vocalist Example is back, and ‘back on the wreck’ according to the title of his latest banger! Dropping today on Oliver Heldens’ Heldeep Records label, the track fuses elements of breakbeats with a slick old-skool garage sound and traditional house features to craft an addictive floor-filler, blessed by a strong chime that adds real rhythm to the production.

Having burst into mainstream consciousness with tracks such as ‘Changed The Way You Kiss Me’, Example has gone on to work with several of the biggest producers in the dance music scene, including Laidback Luke, Faithless, Chase & Status, and Calvin Harris, even collaborating with the latter on 2012’s ‘We’ll Be Coming Back’. The new Example track is just the latest in a long line of recent bangers from Heldeep Records, with Oli’s label also dropping hot whoppers from the likes of Corey James, Curbi, Mesto, Will K, Zonderling and many more over the course of the past 12 months! With label head honcho Oliver Heldens also hitting something of a purple patch recently thanks to his huge Firebeatz collab ‘Lift Me Up’ and Riton collaboration ‘Turn Me On’, things are looking bright for the Rotterdam-born future-house pioneer.

Example returns to his native UK this Winter/Spring, embarking on a huge tour which will see him play various dates, culminating in a show at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on 7th March. Let us know what you think of this track by checking it out below!
