Final track from the duo Cassius will be released soon

After a tragic end to the French producer duo Cassius, it’s time for some good news for all their admirers. According to DJ Mag, their final piece of work will be released by Glitterbox Recordings on 21^st February 2020.

The duo’s remix of Fiorious’ track “I’m Not Defeated” will be a token of respect to the journey of Hubert Boombass and the late French producer Phillipe Zdar in the music industry.

In a catastrophic incident on 19^th June 2019, Phillipe Zdar fell out of a window in Paris which led to his unfortunate death. This remix by his duo Cassius alongside Boombass will also serve as a tribute to him. It will be available next month as a single-sided limited-edition vinyl. All the profits generated by this release will be donated to the Canadian LGBTQ+ Rainbow Railroad Charity.

When asked for his opinion on this release and the duo, Fiorious responded-

“This remix was obviously a labor of love for them, you can feel that so strongly. No one ever imagined it would be the last Cassisus production. It’s an inspiring eight-minute tour de force and most bittersweet gift to all of us.”
