Hardwell releases ‘Best Of’ album titled ‘The Story of Hardwell’

Hardwell (real name Robbert van de Corput) has just released an album comprised of his most beloved songs, called ‘The Story of Hardwell’ on his own label Revealed Recordings.  The 23-track album serves as a “token of gratitude” from Hardwell to his fans, as he recounts the past decade of his career.  ‘The Story of Hardwell’ graces us with hits such as ‘Spaceman’, which is regarded as one of the most influential songs of electronic dance music history while also breaking earth-shattering records, to early collaborations with Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren and another record-smashing track ‘Apollo’ with Amba Shepherd.  This album proves how Hardwell stood the test of time with hit, after hit, after hit, and how lucky we were to have seen each song sweep the main stages across the globe.  Hardwell had this to stay regarding the album,

“With the arrival of a new decade, I’ve been reflecting on my career and many of my singles.  Which ones standout and which ones hold such a deeper meaning to me, and you.  The tracks that have such a big story behind them or which have been career defining for me.  The ones that have lived long in my sets or which have been requested time and time again by you guys.  So, I decided I wanted to create something tangible for you guys to enjoy.  Something that was my way of celebrating this musical journey I’ve been so privileged to share [with] you.”

Hardwell announced his retirement from touring in 2018 and up until recently, he has refrained from stepping into the spotlight.  In Hardwell’s post DJ career, he is laying low with his family and friends and enjoys living a simple life and while it doesn’t look like touring is in the near future for Hardwell, Hardwell has informed fans that he “is in the studio more now than ever”.

This album recounts all of the reasons why Hardwell fans and why the world fell in love with his music and will have fans reflecting upon his career with him.

‘The Story Of Hardwell’ is available on multiple streaming platforms and will also be available to purchase as a 25-track dual CD and 12-track vinyl record.
