Tiësto & Charli XCX collaborate for the empowerment fuelled track ‘Hot In It’: Listen
Tiësto and Charli XCX link for empowering and sultry track ‘Hot In It’, “I knew from the second I heard Charli’s cut on the song that it was going to be a smash” says the Dutch superstar producer.
Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto and British singer-songwriter Charli XCX are both musical legends in their own rights. Tiësto has been raising the bar when it comes to song production throughout the entirety of 2022 and Charli XCX has been taking her career to new heights with the release of her newest album ‘Crash’ which reached number 1 in her home country of the UK as well as closing the iconic festival of Glastonbury on the John Peel Stage. It was only a matter of time before the pair joined forces and they have done so flawlessly with their new track ‘Hot In It’.
Originally teased and going viral on the social media app of TikTok, ‘Hot In it’ screams empowerment and self-love, enforced by Charli XCX’s sultry vocals and lyricism, it hands the listener a sense of confidence that’s only backed by its superior production. With that being said, the production is fierce, captivating, and catchy, steering towards a more club-focused sound. Musical pulses are prevalent throughout before the production goes silent giving Charli a center stage to perform the tracks pre-chorus before diving headfirst into ‘Hot In It’s’ intoxicating drop with the energetic sound continuing from there on. ‘Hot In It’ is a track that’s guaranteed to entice everyone to the dance floor, a song that will define this summer season.
