Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike returned to Tomorrowland’s Mainstage for a massive set during Saturday’s festivities.  The Belgian-Greek brothers unleashed an hour’s worth of dance anthems, mash-ups, edits and ID’s upon the crowd.

Taking the stage sandwiched between Timmy Trumpet and Alesso, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike started their set by discussing the two year gap since the festival last occurred, with this statement blaring out to the crowd:

Three years in the motherf***ing making.  Three years they kept us waiting.  It’s been too long.  Too long they kept us away from the grounds.  Too long they kept us away from the magic, the people, the love, the energy.  Here we come together now with unity, as one.  We can’t stop now.  We won’t stop now.  Dimitri Vegas.  Like Mike.  Guess who’s back?

Underneath, a slow building synth pattern evolved and built up before giving away to the familiar piano and bass from Dr. Dre’s hit Still D.R.E. and then the brothers wasted no time dropping some new ID’s and old classics.  By the time they dropped their 2014 anthem with Martin Garrix, Tremor, the energy was palpable, even from viewing at home on the stream.  The musical journey continued with a flurry of edits, remixes and mash ups including Chicago’s Hard To Say I’m Sorry, Daft Punk’s Harder Better Faster Stronger and Kings of Leon’s Sex On Fire.  The brothers know how to work a crowd, put together a set worthy of the return of Tomorrowland, and they ensured that they created a memorable night of music, complete with dancing and sing along’s, with the careful curation of their set.  In preparation for the set, they even revisited their 2021 single with Timmy Trumpet and Edward Maya, Feel Your Love, to create a special Tomorrowland mix for the occasion.  If you missed it, check out the full set below:
