Rezz and deadmau5 collaboration: 2012 classic ‘Superliminal’ remake revealed

Rezz and deadmau5, after their impressive collaboration on “Hypnocurrency” in 2021, are set to team up once again.

Rezz and deadmau5 continue to captivate fans as they gear up for their next collaboration, marking their return to the studio after over two years. The duo’s unique blend of sounds leaves audiences eagerly awaiting their upcoming release.

Rezz took to Twitter to share a live clip of her performance of Hypnocurrency while also teasing the upcoming collaboration with deadmau5. In her tweet, she expressed excitement about creating another masterpiece together, mentioning their plans to meet the following week.

In an exciting revelation, Rezz unveiled that their new song together will be a reimagined version of Superliminal, a beloved deadmau5 classic released in 2012. The track serves as the opening piece on his sixth studio album, > album title goes here <. The strong bond between Rezz and deadmau5 goes beyond collaboration, as the latter acts as a trusted friend and mentor to Rezz. Notably, Rezz has released numerous records under deadmau5’s renowned mau5trap label. Now, the duo is preparing to make their debut live performance together as “Rezzmau5” at Toronto’s Veld Music Festival.

Meanwhile, deadmau5 will continue to split his time between projects as he continues to celebrate his newly formed kx5 duo with another massive producer Kaskade.  The helmeted DJ seems to be hitting a new stride for inspiration and projects as he continues to build upon his already incredible legacy.

While a specific release date for the new version of “Superliminal” has yet to be revealed by Rezz or deadmau5, fans can eagerly anticipate its arrival. In the meantime, they can revisit the magic of their previous track and indulge in the anticipation of what they will create next.
