Joris Voorn plays out eclectic set at Tomorrowland 2023 during Weekend 2
Dutch export Joris Voorn delivered IDs and more during a stellar performance on the Freedom Stage on Weekend 2 of Tomorrowland 2023.
Joris Voorn is no stranger to the immense atmosphere of Tomorrowland, thus he offloaded a sublime set fitting for those who had gathered to see him on the Freedom Stage yesterday. The Dutchman is famous for his extended sets, cramming as much scintillating music into his mixes as humanly possible. Drawing together a number of influences, he took fans on a musical journey as Weekend 2 of the festival got underway.
In total, the set boasted over 8 mouthwatering IDs, of which a couple were his very own fledgling productions that will have his loyal followers coming back for more. He also brandished music from the likes of Atóm, Ae:ther, Esoteric Circle, GIGEE and Adam Sellouk in the early stages of his setlist, filling the vast spaces of the Freedom Stage with pulsating sound. Later on in his set he had some of his own offerings at-hand while also harnessing the sonic power of artists such as Kaufmann, EarthLife, Argy & Omnya and Khainz to see him to the end of his set.
He didn’t bow out without an emotional final track – his remix of Sinéad O’Connor‘s ‘Troy’ which he no doubt played out on tribute to the late singer who sadly passed away earlier in the week. Providing these fishing touches, his set is definitely one that will live long in the memory of those who were there. As for those didn’t get the chance to experience this Joris Voorn set, it will likely be uploaded in the near future on Tomorrowland’s channels.
