Just after closing out the ‘Paradise Again’ chapter of their return, supergroup Swedish House Mafia have returned to release one of their fan favourite IDs of late, one that they’ve been teasing in all of their recent performances and solo sets.

Following the release of the live version of debut album ‘Paradise Again‘ just last week, Swedish House Mafia have officially closed that chapter and are now already looking towards building the hype for their sophomore album. After debuting the track at their exclusive performance at Kappa FuturFestival in Italy earlier in the year, it has now become a staple of their sets. Finally, after the members continuing to play it in their solo sets and together around the world, ‘Ray Of Solar‘ is here to kick off the new album cycle.

Cinematic, this is arguably the Swedish House Mafia that a lot of people have been waiting to hear again. Euphoric, the piano driven soundscape takes an operatic approach before the drop comes in. In pure SHM style, they have created a record that can fill the dancefloor whilst evoking a strong sense of emotion to tug on the listeners’ heartstrings. Just last weekend at Tomorrowland when Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello went b2b, Angello said:

“This one’s a special one. This is called ‘Ray Of Solar’, and this is the new Swedish House Mafia song. This is coming on an album we’re dropping later this summer.”

So not only do we have a string of new singles including this one to quench our SHM thirst, we’re already being treated to another album. Whilst we eagerly await details of the mystery album, you can listen to ‘Ray Of Solar’ here.
