Tomorrowland 2023 livestream on TikTok reaches 16M viewers

The brand new streaming partnership between TikTok and Tomorrowland turned out to be a huge success as the short video-based social media platform gathered more than 16 million unique viewers across the two weekends of the festival.

The deal between the two parties involved streaming live performances from 24 artists and producers on the lineup, including  Armin Van BuurenSteve Aoki, and Amber Broos. Moreover, TikTok also launched specialized in-app playlists to encourage the use of #Tomorrowland on the platform. It was observed that views on all sorts of content linked to this particular hashtag rose from 3 billion to 3.9 over the course of the event.

When it comes to adopting and embracing digital innovation, Tomorrowland has always been one of the first events to enhance the experience of the viewers and attendees by incorporating something new with each edition. In 2022, it distinguished itself as among the initial music festivals in Europe to live broadcast with Dolby Atmos audio. Likewise, in 2020, it organized a virtual festival on New Year’s Eve, featuring four stages situated at the digital venue NAOZ. It would be interesting to see what’s in store for the upcoming events and how the organizers plan to amaze us again.
