Armin van Buuren simply cannot be stopped. The Dutch mastermind has been cooking up a storm lately with 3 releases in the last 30 days, including Love Is A Drug, an absolute favorite among fans.

The 2023 edition of Ultra Miami brought out a new side of Armin van Buuren, with the legendary DJ/producer opting out for a tracklist that consists primarily of fresh future rave productions. One of them caught the eyes and ears of those present and the people watching the livestream, and it’s easy to understand why. Love Is A Drug is a track that expertly mixes the present and the past of Armin’s artistry. The instrumental is aggressive and energetic, characteristic of future rave while the vocals throw back the listener to some of the past Armin van Buuren trance hits with its emotion.

Armin van Buuren definitely is an expert scout for vocal talent. This time around, Anne Gudrun had the chance to show what she’s made of. It is safe to say that she did not disappoint. Amongst the energetic melodies, she elevated the track with her powerful voice flawlessly. She sings about longing for her love partner, describing the feeling as being addicted to the love she was shown, hence the title Love Is A Drug. The instrumental is crisp, once again proving the production expertise Armin possesses.

As previously mentioned, Love Is A Drug is the third release Armin van Buuren put out in the last 30 days, the others being Space Case and Lose This Feeling. In between releases, Armin also released A State Of Trance, Ibiza 2023 compilation, featuring tracks from MaRloAchilles, ARTY, Eelke Kleijn, and so much more. He split the compilation into 3 parts: On The Beach, In The Club, and Who’s Afraid Of 138?!. One of the tracks on the compilation is Love Is A Drug which you can listen to down below.
